It's your standard pretty girl-elf.

It is, however, a very nicely fleshed out standard pretty girl-elf. The shading in the dress and skin shows an attention to believable detail. Nice accents, such as the pattern on the gloves, the small leaf earrings bobbing in the wind, and the flower in her hair are all wonderful little moments.

What hurts the piece is the low-contrast, arbitrary blue background and the parade of butterflies that look like paper cutouts. Looking at the figure, the viewer can tell that the artist can draw. A jaw-dropping butterfly, realistic tree boughs, and an actual landscape would have made this piece.

Still, I can't fault kaoriechan's impeccable fantasy fashion sense and ability to give the character a personality with an active pose. Cute work.
